Anyone got a suggestion for a venue for the NW Areas next year?
Venue needs to be capable of holding, and wanting to hold, a two day meeting. Other desireable requirements.
- Place where lots of people will want to go.
- Reasonable size of water with suitable launching facilities
- Camping facilities at or near club.
- Easy access
In the recent past the Areas have been held at Morcambe, Ainsdale (WLYC), Rudyard Lake, Delph and Bassenthwaite. In the dim and distant past the Areas were held at places like Leigh, Bala and Llandudno. Must have missed some off as well as places where the areas where never held like Llyn Aled and Llyn Brenig.
